Summary

Dr. Musammir Khan has completed his PhD in Physical Chemistry/Material Science from Tianjin University of China in 2014 and then joined Heidelberg University of Germany in 2015 as postdoc researcher. He has been awarded a 24 months postdoc fellowship by Tampere University of Technology (TUT) of Finland from Oct 2015 to Sep 2017. His research area mainly focus on Polymer Chemistry, Hydrogels, Nanoparticles, Nanocomposites, Biosensors, Bioplastics and different applications of the prepared advanced materials for biomedical, electronic and industrial areas. Before joining NUST, he was serving as assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Wah (Aug 2019 to Jan 2023) i.e. about 3.5 years. He was awarded a prestigious fellowship for 12 months (2024-2025) by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation as experienced researcher in the area of Self-healing Amphiphilic Polymer Conetworks for soft contact lenses and biomedical implants coating.
