Best Researcher Awards SNS-NUST

Congratulations to HoD Physics Prof. Dr Syed Rizwan Hussain on receiving University Best Researcher Award for the year 2020 in Natural & Biosciences and SNS Best Researcher Award for the year 2021. It was good to see him on the stage twice in NUST Research & Innovation Excellence Awards ceremony held on December 26, 2022 in NUST Jinnah Auditorium. The honorable rector NUST Engr. Javed Mehmood Bukhari HI (M) conferred the awards. Prof. Dr Syed Rizwan Hussain has published more than 70 ISI-indexed research articles in the fields of energy and data storage devices, magnetism & spintronics, ferroelectrics & multiferroics, and photocatalysis. He has won 03 × externally-funded research projects worth Rs.55.22 Millions, supervising/co-supervising 07 × PhD students and supervised several MS research students. He has also established state-of-the-art research laboratory at SNS focusing on supercapacitors, batteries, ferroelectrics/multiferroics and electrical conductivity.
