Summary

Dr. Rizwan Ul Haq is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Natural Sciences (SNS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). His primary research expertise encompasses Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with a specialized focus on nanofluids, heat transfer mechanisms, boundary layer phenomena, and the numerical and analytical modeling of channel and cavity flows. Dr. Haq has cultivated a strong international research profile. He was a researcher at Western University in London, Canada, where he developed a novel numerical algorithm test for fluid flow over corrugated surfaces. Furthermore, he conducted research at Moulay Ismail University in Errachidia, Morocco, under a TWAS fellowship program funded by Italy. His research productivity is evidenced by the completion of two major projects and an extensive publication record. He has authored more than 165 publications in internationally recognized, ISI-indexed journals. His work has garnered significant academic recognition, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 490 and a total citation count of over 12,000. In recognition of his scholarly contributions, Dr. Ul Haq has been honored with the Research Productivity Award and is recognized as a Productive Scientist of Pakistan by the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST). He also received the Best Researcher Award at Bahria University for three consecutive years (2017, 2018, and 2019). He is among the top 2% of scientists in the world, recognized by Stanford University, together with the publishing house Elsevier and SciTech Strategies for the years (2020-2024).
