Summary

Dr Inayat Ali Khan, PhD graduated from Quaid-i-Azam University in 2017 with doctorate in Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry. From February 2018 to May 2019, he served International Islamic University Islamabad as an Assistant Professor under the IPFP contract program of HEC Pakistan. From June 2019 to September 2021, he engaged in postdoctoral research to design halogen free ionic liquids for green energy application at the Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden. In October 2022, he started another postdoc project on PEM water electrolyzers to produce protype and industrial scale quality electrocatalysts at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Denmark. He joined NUST in November 2023 and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, National University of Sciences and Technology. Mainly engaged in scientific research in the field of electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices such as supercapacitors, batteries, PEM fuel cells and PEM electrolyzers. In 2022, he was awarded the best research award by ScienceFather in NESIN 2022 awards competition. In Feb 2024, he got the world prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF-2023) under the Horizon-Europe 2021-2027 framework program.
