INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ORGANIZED JOINTLY BY DR. SYED RIZWAN, SNS, NUST AND PROF. REHANA SHARIF, UET LAHORE

On December 06, 2019, an international conference titled “China-Pakistan Workshop on Ferromagnetic Hybrid Nanostructures” jointly organized by Dr. Syed Rizwan Hussain from SNS, NUST and Prof. Rehana Sharif from UET Lahore focusing on cutting-edge nanotechnology being employed in magnetic data storage industry for devices such as magnetic random access memory devices, etc. Four international participants from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China including Prof. Han Xiu-Feng, Dr. Xiaoming Zhang, Mr. Saroj Parajuli and Mr. Chen Cheng participated in the event. Various experts in the field from national universities including University of Engg. and Tech. Lahore, University of Lahore, Forman Christian College University Lahore, International Islamic University Islamabad, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, COMSATS University Islamabad, etc took part in the event and shared their recent research ideas. A poster competition ceremony was also held in which about 25 participants from various institutions displayed their research works. The event was concluded with a commitment of extending research collaboration in future.​
