HIGH IMPACT PUBLICATION-SNS FACULTY MEMBER

CONGRATULATIONS to Prof. Syed Rizwan Hussain (Department of Physics, SNS, NUST) and his PhD student Ms. Sabeen Fatima for publishing a high impact research article in the prestigious journal “Materials Today Physics (Impact Factor 11.021, Q-1). It is the first article reporting double transition metal carbide MXene, in combination with Graphene Oxide, for highly efficient memristor devices for data storage applications at room-temperature. MXene is the new hot material among 2D family which has shown tremendous potential for an all-round performance as energy storage, water-splitting, data storage, magnetism, etc. In the coming years, MXene is expected to take over Graphene for potential industrial applications.
